STRAIGHT PATCHWORK JACKET IN CHARCOAL

Straight cut long jacket with hand details, made in single spindle spun cotton and dyed in charcoal. The fabric engages the workwear structure of denim and marries it to the tradition of handspun cotton.

- 50% cotton 50% silk.

- Reclaimed pieces are those where, after the garment is cut and stitched- we use all the leftover scrap and make reclaimed patchwork out of it.

- Handspun yarn is made using a single spindle Gandhi charkha.

- Charcoal color is achieved using myrobalan and ferrous and tamarind seed solution.

- 30 inches / 76.2 cm is the length of the garment.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

• Iron or steam with warm heat
• Separately hand wash

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time. It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.
