Q: How and where is it made?

All our pieces are made in India through a fibre-to-finish process that begins in artisan communities and comes together at our workshop in New Delhi. We work closely with Kala Khoj in Kachchh—a producer-owned organisation with 250 artisan members—where textiles are made slowly and by hand, often within artisan homes. Our cotton garments use handspun, handwoven cotton with a significantly lower carbon footprint, dyed with plant-based colours , and finished using craft techniques like smocking, painting, and tie-dyeing. Our silk pieces are made using mulberry silk from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The entire process is rooted in care and generational skill, with a majority of our value chain led by women and many artisans under the age of 35. Product Details

Statement tapered fit elasticated trousers. Made with 60 gsm silk developed with weavers of Kashmir. Composed shibori motifs placed carefully throughout the garment.

- 100% Silk.

- Ori-nui and maki-nui shibori are created by stitching and tying the fabric. The resist motif is created through binding and capping on the fabric.

- The purple-red color is achieved by blending indigenous ingredients from the Indian landscape including rubia, iron rust, and harda solution.

Wash Care for SILK

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.
