Q: How and where is it made?

All our pieces are made in India through a fibre-to-finish process that begins in artisan communities and comes together at our workshop in New Delhi. We work closely with Kala Khoj in Kachchh—a producer-owned organisation with 250 artisan members—where textiles are made slowly and by hand, often within artisan homes. Our cotton garments use handspun, handwoven cotton with a significantly lower carbon footprint, dyed with plant-based colours , and finished using craft techniques like smocking, painting, and tie-dyeing. Our silk pieces are made using mulberry silk from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The entire process is rooted in care and generational skill, with a majority of our value chain led by women and many artisans under the age of 35. Product Details

A relaxed fit shirt with classic collar, this one-off, limited edition piece is made in fine silk. Lightweight and with a smooth hand-feel, the garment features all-over Bandhani done twice by the artisans to achieve the multicoloured effect.

- 100% Silk.

- Made with 60 gsm silk developed with weavers of Kashmir.

- Bandhani is a traditional tie and dye technique done in India, practiced for generations.

- The Purple-Red colour is achieved by blending indigenous ingredients from the Indian landscape, including rubia, iron rust, and harda solution.

- 24 inches / 61 cm is the length of the garment.

- The model- Diksha, is 5’8” and is wearing S size.

Wash Care for BANDHANISILK

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

Handwash in mesh bag
OR Gentle agitation machine wash in mesh bag. Wash in cold water in a slow cycle, not more than 25 min with mild detergent or less quantity of normal detergent.

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time. It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

Shipping: Shipping in India is FREE.
The product will ship with in 50 to 60 days after reception of your paid order. Delivery: All order will be delivered via Blue dart (or equivalent) in 2 to 3 business days.

Return and Exchange

As a policy, we do not offer returns or exchanges on a made-to-order piece, but our customer care team would be happy to assist you for any product or size related concerns.
However, if the product is wrongfully delivered (product doesn’t match the item in the order confirmation) or has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect then we are open to extending full refund or re-fulfilling your order. Your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must also be in the original packaging.
