This yarn dyed hand-spun / hand-woven fabric is produced without the use of electricity in the Burdwal region of Indian, near Kolkata, West Bengal. The yarn is naturally dyed in Pondicherry.

The distinctive color is achieved using the skin of pomegranate and natural indigo. Color may slightly vary due to the nature of the small batch natural dyeing. Natural dyes bleed and result in graceful fades with the passage of time.

Care :
It is advisable to wash separately in cold water and air dry ensuring a longer life for the garment and a gentle impact on the environment.

Lay flat to dry
Iron or steam with mild heat

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time.
