Product Details

An elegant draped dress crafted with fine cotton silk, dyed in burnt umber. Featuring One-Of-A-Kind all over screen printed artwork, drawing inspiration from the timeless tiles of Chettinad homes in multi colour. Punctuated with a unique pattern of motifs created through a combination of ori nui and maki nui shibori.

- 50% Cotton, 50% Silk.

- Silk cotton blend with a soft lustre.

- Ori-nui and maki-nui shibori are created by stitching and tying the fabric. The resist motif is created through binding and capping on the fabric.

- Burnt umber is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from The Indian landscape including Rubia, rust, and harda solution.

- 40.5 inches / 102.87 cms is the length of the garment.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time. The product will ship with in 20 to 30 days after reception of your paid order. Delivery: All order will be delivered via Blue dart (or equivalent) in 2 to 3 business days.
