Natural Inidgo / Yarn-Dyed / Organic Cotton / Stripe Fabric

This yarn dyed hand-spun / hand-woven - stripe fabric is produced without the use of electricity in the Burdwal region of Indian, near Kolkata, West Bengal. The yarn is naturally dyed in Pondicherry.

Composition : 100% organic cotton

Width : 37.25”

Suggested Usage : Shirts, trousers, skirts, accessories.

The color is achieved through a careful blend of indigenous ingredients from the Indian landscape including natural indigo.

Color may slightly vary due to the nature of the small batch natural dyeing.

Care :

It is advisable to wash separately in cold water and air dry ensuring a longer life for the garment and a gentle impact on the environment. Natural dyes bleed and result in graceful fades with the passage of time.

Iron or steam with mild heat

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

NOTE: Indigo bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time.
