Origin : The natural fiber is Kala cotton - it is organic & indigenous to the region of Kutch, the farmers do not use any pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. It is a non GMO varietal - a purely rain fed crop that does not require additional irrigation to grow.
The cotton is hand-spun into yarn and handwoven into fabric without the use of electricity in the Gondal region of Gujarat, naturally dyed in Pondicherry. The color is achieved through a careful blend of indigenous ingredients from the Indian landscape including natural indigo.Color may slightly vary due to the nature of the small batch natural dyeing.
Suggested Usage : Jackets, jeans, dresses, skirts, accessories & upholstery
It is advisable to wash separately in cold water and air dry ensuring a longer life for the garment and a gentle impact on the environment. Natural dyes bleed and result in graceful fades with the passage of time.
