BOTTLE GREEN BLOCK PRINT & SHIBORI SOFT SILK DRESS

An elegant and comfortable dress with pleated elbow details. Cut from fine silk, the classic piece is crafted with delicate shibori machine stitches and hand block printing.

- 100% Silk.

- Shibori involves binding certain sections of the cloth using thread – traditionally a type of untwisted thread, to achieve the desired pattern.

- Bottle green is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from The Indian landscape including Indigo and myrobalan flower solutions.

- 40 inches / 101.6 cm is the length of the garment.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

• Handwash in mesh bag
• OR Gentle agitation machine wash in mesh bag. Wash in cold water in a slow cycle, not more than 25 min with mild detergent or less quantity of normal detergent.

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time. It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.
