Rooted in the idea that peace can be generated through the compassionate management of land and labor, this double layered dress includes a simple earthy brown slip topped with a diaphanous delicate undyed cotton dress.
The distinctive color of the slip is achieved through a careful blend of indigenous ingredients from the Indian landscape including : sappan wood, myrobalan flower, ferrous and tamrind seed solution.
Color may slightly vary due to the nature of the small batch natural dyeing.
This takes 10 artisans 130 hours to bring the garment to life.
